Force Athlete Performance works in partnership with Move365 and Elite Sports Medicine to build complete athletes. Their goal is to help optimize your Sport Performance, Conditioning, mental and physical health. They have a team of professionals at your disposal to help you achieve your performance goals.

Kassidy Sauve

Goalie Coach/
Elite Athlete Consultant

Sauvé has always been an elite goaltender. As a teenager playing for the Whitby Wildcats Minor Midget Boys AAA, she led the team to an OMHA Championship and was the first woman to play in the OHL Cup in 2012.

 

In 2013/14 she played for the Whitby Wolves Junior Team, which she was selected from to Represent Hockey Canada's U-18 Team at the IIHF Under-18 Women’s Worlds. She helped lead her team to a Gold Medal.


After junior, she joined the Ohio State Buckeyes. Sauvé earned All-American honors in 2016-2017. The following year, she posted a 19-9-4 record with 10 shutouts, .938 SV %, and a 1.88 GAA. She also set the Buckeyes’ record for shutouts - with 22 in 88 career games played - and saves.


After graduating from Ohio State in 2018 with a degree in Sports Industry, Sauvé played for the Clarkson University Golden Knights. While earning her MBA, she started 36 games, posted a .937 SV%, a 1.71 GAA, and was second in the country with a 27-7-2 record. She set a University record for saves, was an ECAC All-Star, and was named Goaltender of the Month twice. Sauvé made the historic feat of back-to-back Frozen Four appearances with different Programs.


After her time at Clarkson, Kassidy joined the PWHPA. She spent the 2019–20 season with the organization's New England hub. She made her PWHPA debut at the Dunkin' Showcase in 2019, winning it with Team Stecklein. She also played for Team Turnbull, Team Scotiabank, and Team Sonnet.
In 2022, she moved to Finland to play pro for HPK where she recorded a .964 SV%, and a 0.88 GAA in the regular season. In addition she was a carded member of Hockey Canada's Senior Women's program from 2019-2022.

 

Sauvé is currently playing for the Buffalo Beauts in the Premier Hockey Federation.

Coach "Gio" obtained a degree in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University and began his journey in the health industry working as a Kinesiologist. This experience was the backbone to his understanding of exercise prescription, rehabilitation from injury and athlete development. Since, he has over 10+ years of experience working with high performance athletes, with a specialty within the sport of hockey.

 

Gio has consistently trained professional level players along with NCAA, OHL, OJHL, and high performing minor hockey athletes within the Durham Region. He is also involved in facilitating Off/In-Season team dryland programs for many local minor sport organizations. Steve's passion to consistently help others is evident in his approach and his attention to detail is an integral asset to his overall success as a coach.

 

Steve also has a strong foundation working as an on-ice coach with lots of experience teaching power skating techniques and skill development. He has consistently led skates for professional level players all the way down to grassroots development and continues to share his knowledge with minor hockey athletes across the Durham Region. 

 

Lastly, Gio has many community ties as a youth hockey coach and is currently a Volunteer Firefighter and tactical athlete. He believes in leading by example and being a role model to those around him.

Tina R. Ward

Holistic/Sports Nutritionist

Tina graduated on  the Dean's Honour List from the esteemed Institute of Holistic  Nutrition in Toronto where she earned her designation of Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP).    

Tina  is an energetic and enthusiastic holistic nutritional practitioner  who operates a private practice in Whitby, Ontario, Canada where she  provides personal one-on-one consultation for a wide range of clients;  from those looking to improve optimal health and well being to  professional and youth athletes striving to raise performance and gain a  competitive edge.  

Tina's  approach to optimum health spans many areas including nutrition,  supplementation and lifestyle counseling.  She also delivers practical  nutrition based seminars and workshops for sports teams  and community and corporate groups.
